Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator in Hingham to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work across construction projects, ensuring safety and schedule adherence. You will review drawings, sequence MEP activities with site teams, and track coordination items to address clashes and keep stakeholders informed.

The role offers exposure to healthcare, academic, and commercial projects with BIM and 3D CAD coordination at the core of the process.

Qualifications

Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing on construction projects.
Reading construction drawings, plans, and MEP layouts.
Ability to identify coordination conflicts between building systems and site work.
Experience working with trade partners and project teams.
Ability to track action items and communicate project updates clearly.
Comfort working on active construction sites and reviewing installed work.

Responsibilities

Coordinate MEP activities across construction project sites.
Review drawings to identify coordination needs before work begins.
Sequence MEP work with other site activities with construction teams.
Track open coordination items and communicate updates to project contacts.
Resolve clashes between MEP systems and building elements using drawings and field input.
Visit project sites to confirm installed work aligns with plans and coordination requirements.
Communicate MEP progress and issues to support timely project decisions.
