Job summary

Messer Construction Co. is seeking a qualified professional to manage BIM coordination and procurement for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on complex commercial projects.

You will lead document control, risk assessment, and scheduled activities while supporting safety and quality programs from our Indianapolis office. Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree and 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with flexibility for non-traditional hours as needed on project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide document control including shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos, and daily reports with mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus.
• Lead the spatial coordination and assembly of the building information model (BIM) with focus on the mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus.
• Leads the planning and execution of scheduled construction activities with MEP focus.
• Capable of procuring mechanical/electrical/plumbing scopes of work.
• Establishes project level risk assessment and associated controls for mechanical/electrical/plumbing scopes of work.
• Support Zero Injury safety program.
• Support the Quality Leadership System
• Perform other duties as assigned.
