Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - MEP in Texas to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related building systems on complex projects within a PMCM framework. You will coordinate field activities, manage contractors, monitor schedules, and ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.

Collaborate with project leaders, engineers, designers, inspectors, and clients to proactively resolve field conflicts and drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant construction experience may be considered.
• Experience managing MEP construction activities on large, complex projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and schedules.
• Knowledge of building systems, codes, safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related building systems.
• Review MEP drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and docs to support installation and conflicts.
• Direct and coordinate contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project personnel to meet objectives.
• Develop and manage MEP activities aligned with schedules, staffing and sequencing.
• Monitor progress and address issues affecting schedule, cost, quality or safety.
• Inspect field installations for conformance to plans and codes.
• Coordinate MEP with architecture, structure, civil, and other disciplines.
• Lead coordination for equipment installation, energization, testing, commissioning, turnover.
• Monitor procurement of critical MEP equipment to align with schedules.
• Review progress, material use, costs, and schedule performance; recommend actions.
• Facilitate MEP coordination meetings and report risks and actions to stakeholders.
• Support field condition resolutions and constructability issues.
