Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly capable Structural Designer to join our Data Center Design Engineering team. You will design structural systems for Amazon-owned data centers, using Revit to create and maintain BIM models and documentation.

You will collaborate across disciplines, coordinate with external partners, and help ensure the highest standards of efficiency and quality. Your role requires 5+ years in structural design on complex facilities, strong Revit experience, and a Bachelor's in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Structural design experience on mission critical, industrial, or complex facilities.
• 4+ years of experience using Revit for producing Structural BIM models and construction drawings.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designing Structural systems for data centers using Revit to create BIM models.
• Develop and publish construction documentation for Structural building systems.
• Create and maintain regional and global BIM libraries including Revit Families and Details.
• Coordinate designs with other trades and conduct clash detection.
• Assist in maintaining BIM templates and enforcing BIM standards.
• Travel to data center sites for engineering evaluations and surveys as needed.
