Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Team-Based Financial Advisor in Kenosha, WI to learn under mentors, obtain licenses, and build a client book while receiving income stability and growth opportunities. You’ll gain hands-on experience with joint field work, training, and supportive leadership to develop as a financial advisor and potentially advance within the practice.

The role emphasizes licensing over immediate production, with a focus on serving clients with heart and a plan to join the sponsoring team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the operation of the practice.
• Participate in Joint Fieldwork to build expertise and learn best practices within the industry.
• Meet with new and existing clients to build a book of business and grow relationships.
• Solicit and sell appropriate products, complete applications, write recommendations, and service existing clients/contracts.
• Position products, services, and strategies to help clients gain financial clarity.
• Collaborate with Lead Advisor on complex scenarios.
• Schedule, prep, and document all your client meetings.
