Job summary

Southwest Key Programs is seeking a part-time Mentor Recruitment & Retention Specialist in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on recruiting, screening, training and supporting Mentor-Mentee relationships, with travel up to 75% to meet program needs.

Responsibilities include developing outreach plans, creating recruitment materials, and facilitating training sessions. Strong communication and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree plus 5 years total relevant experience (recruitment, training, volunteer management, social services).
• Strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Internet skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist and implement a mentor recruitment and youth outreach plan.
• Create, present and distribute recruitment materials for events and publications.
• Support the retention process for mentors and mentees.
• Cultivate partnerships to sustain a pipeline of mentors.
• Recruit and train mentors and provide ongoing training.
• Orient mentees and parents to the mentor program.
