Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) seeks a Cognitive Performance Specialist to support Army National Guard H2F teams. You will design and deliver mental-readiness programs, train soldiers, and mentor resilience trainers in classroom and field settings.

You will integrate cognitive-performance principles into training, develop resources, and travel to supported locations as needed, aligning with performance psychology standards and credential requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Kinesiology with a specialized focus in sport or performance psychology.
• CMPC certification from the Association for Applied Sport Psychology is highly desired.
• Minimum of three years of post-graduate experience providing mental-skills training and cognitive-performance enhancement services.
• Must maintain all required credentials, licenses, and certifications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing and able to travel within CONUS as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mental-readiness programs based on performance psychology principles.
• Develop mental-skills resources such as tip sheets, exercises, and leader guides.
• Train Soldiers in evidence-based cognitive-performance skills.
• Provide instruction in attention control, goal setting, energy management, stress-response techniques, breathing, mindfulness, visualization, and self-talk.
• Conduct classroom instruction and field-based coaching.
• Integrate cognitive skills into military activities and leadership courses.
• Mentor Master Resilience Trainers and H2F Integrators.
• Provide reach-back support and SME input.
• Contribute to H2F onboarding curricula, reports, and mentorship packages.
• Participate in meetings and travel to Army National Guard training locations as required.
