Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks licensed or eligible therapists to join our collaborative behavioral health team in Pittsburgh. You will provide outpatient therapy, develop safety and wellness plans, and contribute to case management with a supportive clinical and administrative team.

We value ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and strong client rapport. A $2,500 hiring incentive is available at this location for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.
