Mental Health Therapist, Behavioral Health, Baptist Downtown

Join Baptist Health as a Mental Health Therapist, Behavioral Health, Baptist Downtown. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at Baptist Medical Center, focusing on the evaluation, treatment, and support of the mental and emotional well-being of older adults, including those dealing with dementia, depression, anxiety, grief, or behavioral disturbances linked to cognitive decline or chronic illness.

This is a full-time day shift position with a hybrid work model (2-3 days per week) and involves working with the geriatric population. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, diagnosing, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with licensing and credentialing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based clinical treatment
• Complete authorization requests and maintain accurate medical records
• Maintain licensure and credentialing requirements
• Develop rapport with patients and assess using DSM criteria
• Document treatment progress per Joint Commission standards

Qualifications:

• Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required
• Master's Degree in related field
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor required
