BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Behavioral Health King Helie!

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

Facility: Behavioral Health King Helie

Location: New Port Richey, FL

Status: Hourly

Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

1. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
2. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
3. Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
4. Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Requirements:

1. BLS (Basic Life Support)
2. High School or Equivalent
3. FL Driver's License
4. Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
5. Preferred - CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience:

1. 6 months - Psychology based experience
