Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or two years of college preferred.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial patient information and document on assessment forms.
• Assist with unit tour, orientation, and patient rights.
• Assist with collection of lab specimens and transport to lab.
• Participate in structuring the milieu and encourage patient group involvement.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to Charge Nurse.
• Provide hygiene and nutritional support as needed.
• Support treatment team decisions and monitor safety tools like sharps.
