Job summary

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician for weekend day shifts (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday, 7:00 pm–7:30 am) to join a dedicated team. You will provide direct patient care, support therapeutic milieu, and assist with daily living activities under RN supervision.

We value empathy, reliability, and strong communication as you engage patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a 156-bed behavioral health system.

Qualifications

• High school level reading and writing skills.
• Certification as nursing assistant or patient care technician preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain safe and therapeutic milieu and assist with activities of daily living.
• Be flexible to reassignment across units and patient populations.
