Qualifications

Position requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred; high school diploma required
• One-year experience with psychiatric clients preferred
• Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, verbal de-escalation, Handle with Care, and CPR training
• Preferred knowledge of teaching strategies for special education populations, individual and group management, and therapeutic relationship processes
