Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. It offers a continuum of care including assessments, inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults, and a private residential rehabilitation program. The hospital is easily accessible via public transportation and provides free on-site parking.

Mental Health Technicians (MHT) at Friends Hospital assist in the direct care and management of patients across all age ranges with medical and behavioral issues, as directed by the treatment team. MHTs facilitate and conduct groups, ensure active participation in treatment, assist with daily leisure activities, and support activities of daily living tailored to patients' functional abilities, growth, and development.
