Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha is seeking a Mental Health Tech to support Behavioral Health’s front and back office, assisting psychiatrists, patients, and the care management team. You will help with triage, vital signs, and accurate EHR documentation.

You’ll manage reception, patient registration, insurance/copay processing, and handling refill requests while maintaining confidentiality and excellent service in a trauma-informed, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 1 year in mental health.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Experience with patient care and EHR documentation.
• Ability to work in trauma-informed, confidential environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist psychiatrists, patients, and care management team.
• Provide basic medication triage, vital signs, and nursing tasks.
• Handle front office duties: reception, registration, insurance processing, phone calls.
• Process refill requests and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Support a trauma-informed, calm, professional environment.
