Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Care Technician for our Santa Monica outpatient psychiatry practice. You will deliver compassionate patient service while administering interventional treatments (TMS, Esketamine, IV Ketamine) and handle essential administrative tasks.

You will set up and monitor sessions, verify insurance, schedule, and maintain EMR records while upholding HIPAA. Strong customer service, BLS, and Word/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective patients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; maintained throughout employment.
• Excel in multitasking with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel with strong data entry skills.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and organizational abilities.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
• Provide compassionate patient care, building trust with mental health patients.
• Perform TMS treatments following physician protocols; setup, monitor, and document sessions.
• Address and resolve issues related to patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS setup.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and guide patients on completing them accurately.
• Maintain schedules, patient demographics, and insurance information.
• Collect deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays from patients.
• Manage multiple phone lines and respond to email inquiries promptly.
• Scan medical documents and ensure record integrity in EMR software.
