Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions in Santa Monica, CA seeks a Patient Care Technician to support interventional mental health treatments and patient services. The role combines hands-on patient care with clinic administration, including scheduling and insurance verification.

The ideal candidate maintains a BLS certification, excels in customer service, and can manage multiple tasks with precision. Training in TMS and Esketamine will be provided within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective patients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must be maintained throughout employment.
• Excel in multitasking with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is mandatory.
• Demonstrate outstanding written, verbal, and organizational abilities.
• Foster excellent communication and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Engage professionally with patients, clinic staff, physicians, and support departments.
• Uphold office standards for professional appearance and conduct, with a focus on confidentiality.
• Preferably hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; candidates with relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Provide compassionate patient care and build trust, especially for mental health patients.
• Perform TMS treatments following physician protocols and document sessions.
• Address issues related to patient comfort and TMS setup.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and guide patients on completing them.
• Maintain accurate schedules, patient demographics, and insurance information.
• Collect deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays.
• Manage multiple phone lines and respond to emails from patients.
• Scan medical documents and ensure records integrity in EMR.
