Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health seeks compassionate professionals to support individuals with mental health needs in home, school, or community settings. You will work with clients and families to implement person-centered plans while collaborating with a mobile crisis team to ensure safety and continuity of care.

The role involves flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call periods, with emphasis on de‑escalation and emergency response within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older per program policy.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Respite providers may need rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-to-one support in home, school or community settings.
• Collaborate with consumer, family and treatment team toward goals.
• Maintain clinical schedule and documentation in electronic records.
• Assist in crisis de-escalation and safety planning when needed.
• Deliver services with respect, confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
• Attend supervision and participate in program staffing.
