Job summary

Geode Health Inc. is seeking a passionate Practice Assistant to support clinicians and front-office operations in a fast-paced mental health care setting.

This on-call / PRN role covers Milwaukee and Madison, WI, with estimated pay range of $20-$23/hour. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a medical office or mental health environment, maintains a professional appearance, communicates well with patients and staff, and is proficient with computer systems.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a medical office and/or mental health (preferred).
• Experience working with patients experiencing anxiety and depression (preferred).
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor and interface well with patients in a mental health setting (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Practice Assistant supports providers with delivery of high-quality health care.
• Vital to the operations of a fast-paced practice.
• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Adheres to professional standards to protect the practice.
• Responds to information requests following policies and provider instructions.
• Maintains safe, secure work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with regulations.
• Assists in emergency procedures and crisis situations.
• Understands policies and procedures and completes other duties as assigned.
