The role requires completing preadmission interviews, documenting processes, and referring clients to community resources as needed. A flexible schedule and ability to assess level of care are essential.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: BA in Mental Health or related field; 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete preadmission interviews and assist in completing them.
• Coordinate client transfers between agency services/programs.
• Ensure timely completion of all access-related documentation.
• Report client-related potential problems to supervisor.
• Knowledge of community resources, especially emergency services.
• Refer clients to resources as needed or when services are unavailable.
• Maintain flexible schedule based on program and client needs.
• Seek supervision as needed in a professional manner.
• Identify high risk clients and determine level of care needs per ASAM/DSM-V.
• Complete required trainings on MI, CBT, and EBPs.
• Conduct universal screening for substance use disorders with proper follow-up.
