Penn Medicine is seeking a Mental Health Intake Coordinator for the Penn Integrated Care (PIC) Resource Center at Penn Behavioral Health on Market Street. Under supervision, you will manage telephone intake, perform clinical assessments, coordinate referrals, assess risk, and document care in the electronic system.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of DSM-V and HIPAA, and experience in customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS).
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling or related healthcare field preferred.
• Experience in customer service highly preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-V, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage telephone intake, clinical assessment, referrals, risk stratification, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, case management, and benefit determinations.
• Maintain electronic case management information and medical records.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication for clinical assessment and service referral.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and proper consent procedures.
