Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking a healthcare professional to join the inpatient/outpatient mental health team in Worcester. The role involves direct patient care, treatment planning, documentation, and safety assessments as part of the mental health unit.

The position is Non-Exempt with a hiring range of $20.60–$28.59 per hour for a 40-hour week; final offer depends on hours, experience, and internal equity. Signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care including treatment planning.
• Documentation of daily progress notes.
• Participation in safety checks and de-escalation.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of the Mental Health Team serving patients and families.
• Communicates findings to the RN and documents observations.
• Maintains patient safety through checks, rounds, and de-escalation.
• Leads and co-leads group activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Performs vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy as assigned by RN.
