Job summary

Universal Health Services, River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a TEMP FT Mental Health Associate to join the clinical staff and support patient care from preschool through adulthood while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and promoting participation in program activities.

The role is integrated into the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; CNA preferred; related degrees desirable.
• 2 years related experience in psychiatric patient care preferred.
• Weekend/overtime flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and engage patients in activities.
• Support continuous patient care as part of the treatment team.
• Provide supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients from preschool through adults.
