Job summary

Mandala Healing Center in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage client intake and admissions processes for mental health programs. You will screen applicants, verify insurance approvals, coordinate with departments, and educate clients on procedures and services.

The role involves maintaining client confidentiality, using the CRM/EMR system, and coordinating transportation, with after-hours on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in mental health, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery concepts in substance abuse or mental health.
• Proficiency with software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; EMR and billing systems; KIPU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Pre-screen prospective clients to assess clinical suitability.
• Screen insurance for pre-admission approvals and verify approvals.
• Communicate pertinent information to departments and update ETAs.
• Educate clients on admitting procedures, facility rules and services.
• Log new calls and client data into the CRM system.
• Follow up with leads and schedule pre-admission assessments.
• Ensure up-to-date medical documentation for referrals.
• Arrange transportation to the facility.
• Rotating on-call support for after-hours admissions.
• Performs other duties as required.
