Universal Health Services' La Amistad Behavioral Health Services in Maitland, Florida seeks an Admissions Counselor - Per Diem to support patient intake, coordinate information with physicians and staff, and build referral relationships.

You will verify insurance, determine eligibility, conduct intake assessments, greet patients and families, arrange tours, and help orient new admissions while maintaining compassionate communication.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or RN licensure with two years of mental health experience.
• State of Florida license preferred (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC or RN).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to intake calls and verify insurance coverage.
• Obtain clinical information and complete intake assessments.
• Verify insurance to determine eligibility for admission.
• Greet new admissions and families, answering questions and alleviating concerns.
• Arrange facility tours and orient residents and guardians to policies.
• Determine provisional mental health/chemical dependence diagnoses.
• Assist in precertification of treatment with insurers.
• Locate appropriate treatment resources when not suitable for the program.
• Communicate effectively about the Patient Intake Process.
