Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a Team Leader to direct department associates in merchandising, customer service, and operations. The role includes staff scheduling, training, coaching, and ensuring a top‑notch shopping experience.

You will support the GSM/DM in achieving sales and inventory goals, maintain pricing and plan-o-grams, conduct product demos, and coordinate events. Requires high school diploma and 2–4 years retail supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports the GSM / DM in achievement of Departmental Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory Shrinkage and Payroll Goals.
• Provides daily direction to the associates within the department.
• Executes merchandising directives and maintains plan-o-grams as set by Corporate Office.
• Maintains a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers.
• Staff the department, coordinates training, and prepares weekly work schedules.
• Coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations.
