Job summary

AIR Control Concepts is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Memphis, TN to support inbound sales and estimating for commercial HVAC projects. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration with estimating and engineering teams, and providing pricing guidance without outside sales duties.

The ideal candidate may come from a construction background with the ability to read blueprints and project documents. HVAC experience is not required, and full-time on-site work is required in Memphis.

Qualifications

• Construction-related experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, plans, or similar documents.
• HVAC experience not required; training provided.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and pricing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requests, project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Assist with preparing estimates, pricing, and quotes for commercial HVAC projects.
• Support inbound customer requests by phone and email.
• Work with customers to understand their needs and help identify appropriate products or solutions.
• Review plans and project documents to identify equipment and product requirements.
• Assist with product selection and estimating activities.
• Prepare and organize quote information for customer review.
• Support order processing and project related sales activities.
• Communicate with customers regarding pricing, product information, availability, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project, customer, and estimating information.
• Work closely with the estimating, engineering, and sales teams to support customer and project needs.
• Assist with additional inside sales and estimating responsibilities as needed.
