Job summary

Teradyne in San Jose, CA is seeking a Software Engineer for Memory Test to join a dynamic, cross-functional team that designs, develops and tests software interacting with FPGA and ASIC hardware. You will contribute to all phases of software development, collaborate with Systems and Hardware Engineering, and help deliver reliable solutions to customers.

A BS in CS with 3–5+ years' experience and strong C++ in Windows environments are expected.

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree with 3–5+ years experience
• Strong C++ object-oriented design with a history of on-time delivery
• Hardware-interfacing software experience with FPGAs/ASICs
• Experience with Windows and Visual Studio
• Familiarity with STL and Git
• Experience reading hardware schematics and collaborating with hardware teams

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and translate them into software solutions
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new programs and libraries
• Extend and sustain existing products and libraries
• Work with Field Applications to improve customer success and resolve issues
• Partner with QA to create effective test strategies and ensure robust releases
