Job summary

Brightview Senior Living LLC in Randolph Township, NJ seeks a Wellspring Village Director to lead dementia and memory care for residents. You will guide care, programming, and a high-performing team, working with our health services director and partners to deliver vibrant, compassionate living.

This role requires a Gerontology degree, 3+ years with cognitive impairment, 2+ years supervisory experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology or related field; 3+ years’ experience with cognitive impairment.
• Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a 24 x 7 environment.
• Knowledge of biological, psychological, and social factors affecting cognitive impairment.
• Understanding of therapeutic/behavioral interventions for dementia care.
• Experience designing and executing programs for people with dementia.
• Ability to guide and support families coping with dementia changes.
• Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to excel.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving and professional writing abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; quick to master new apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead care, services and programming within Wellspring Village to ensure high-quality dementia care.
• Attract, retain, coach, and motivate a high-performing associates team.
• Develop and lead a broad range of programming to engage residents.
• Monitor staffing to meet Brightview service standards and budget.
• Participate in resident assessments and regular resident/family meetings.
• Support new hire training and monthly in-service trainings.
• Collaborate with Health Services Director and partners to deliver vibrant living.
