Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology or related field with focus on aging and a minimum of three years' experience with cognitive impairment.
• Minimum of two years' supervisory experience, preferably in a 24 x 7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of biological, psychological, and social factors affecting people with cognitive impairment.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing dementia programming.
• Ability to educate and support families coping with dementia.
• Ability to lead and motivate others to excel; strong English communication and writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; adaptable to new applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all care, services and programming within Wellspring Village to meet Brightview standards.
• Attract, retain, coach, and motivate a high-performing associates team and oversee scheduling.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust Resident Services Plans; participate in resident and family meetings.
• Assist in new hire training and ongoing in-service trainings; collaborate with Health Services Director and partners.
