Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Mahomet, IL seeks a Memory Care Unit Coordinator to oversee the Thrive program across the Courtyard community, in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator. You will work with Life Enrichment staff to maintain a safe, engaging memory care environment.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors.
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Must be able to demonstrate good judgement, prioritization of duties, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's progression in older adults required.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Thrive program daily with Life Enrichment staff.
• Coordinate with Administrator and Health Care Coordinator for unit oversight.
• Collaborate with Life Enrichment team to ensure a functional program.
