Civitas Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Supervisor to lead dementia care initiatives in a hands-on, resident-focused role. You will supervise Memory Care caregivers, coordinate activities, and work with the Wellness Director to maintain a safe, engaging environment for residents living with dementia.

You will drive daily operations, mentor staff, and partner with families to ensure exceptional resident experiences, while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience in senior living or a Memory Care setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for serving older adults, particularly those living with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Ability to lead employees, provide coaching, and maintain accountability.
• Comfort using technology to document care, monitor performance, and communicate with team members.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet background screening requirements.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Create engaging daily activities based on residents' interests and needs.
• Lead monthly activity calendars promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social wellness.
• Coordinate family events, volunteers, community partnerships, and special programs.
• Coach caregivers on dementia care techniques and person-centered engagement.
• Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to Memory Care caregivers and aides.
• Monitor quality of care and ensure staff follow service plans.
• Participate in rotating on-call supervision.
• Partner with Wellness Director to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Conduct daily wellness rounds and environmental inspections.
• Assist with assessments, service plan updates, and care conferences.
• Build relationships with residents and families.
