Job summary

Coterie Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Assistant to provide personal care and support resident engagement under the Memory Care Director.

You will attend to residents with dementia, assist with meals, activities, and daily living tasks, and communicate needs to the care team. This role requires flexibility in shifts and adherence to vaccination requirements to ensure resident safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience providing care to individuals with dementia or cognitive impairment.
• Must complete all training programs.
• Able to read and write simple instructions and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Attend to care needs of Memory Care residents.
• Set up tables and serve meals in dining room.
• Serve meals and snacks daily, including for residents in rooms.
• Assist with daily housekeeping in common areas and resident apartments.
• Engage residents in daily programming and activities.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to Memory Care Director.
