Job summary

Cypress Glen Memory Care is seeking a Memory Care Supervisor in Charge to guide resident care for individuals with memory loss and to administer medications per physician orders and policies. You will supervise the care team, ensure safety, and maintain daily routines in the unit while coordinating with the Associate Administrator and Memory Care Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities include checking residents, responding to calls, documenting in charts, ordering meds and supplies, and enforcing HIPAA

Qualifications

• Demonstrate leadership and willingness to cooperate with team members.
• Must be in good mental and physical condition and able to organize and direct resident care when needed.
• Must read and write in standard American English.
• Must hold DFS-approved Nursing Assistant Certification and be listed with NC DFS/Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Memory Care residents and staff on assigned shift.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician and document accordingly.
• Check residents every two hours and respond to call system promptly.
• Maintain unit cleanliness, safety, and adherence to policies; supervise care planning.
