Job summary

Liberty Place Memory Care is seeking a Health Services Supervisor/Medication Technician to oversee medical care and staff for residents living with memory loss. The role ensures a safe, supportive environment and coordination with families and doctors.

Responsibilities include supervising care, medical assessments, and emergency response, while aligning with the community's social model of assisted living.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in geriatric care.
• Ability to perform duties in a health-care setting and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Know and understand the vision, purpose, values and goals of Liberty Place Memory Care.
• Assess health and safety needs of residents and oversee medical care.
• Ensure social model of assisted living is in operation.
• Assist with family contact and discuss resident conditions.
• Coordinate with clinical services director and participate in annual inspection preparation.
• Back-up to the director in their absence.
• Respond to emergencies and liaise with doctors.
• Schedule transportation for residents to appointments.
• Perform other related essential duties as required.
