Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Sales and Marketing Director in Glenview, Illinois, to lead the memory care community's sales and marketing efforts. The role involves directing the program, building relationships with area professionals, and delivering exceptional service to residents and families.

Responsibilities include developing annual plans, pursuing leads, coordinating move-ins, and managing the department budget while ensuring compliance with the organization’s values and goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with related coursework in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of sales management theory, closing methods, prospect evaluation, and retirement community operations.
• Ability to focus on results, think strategically, and lead by example.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the sales and marketing program in alignment with the organization's vision, purpose, values, and goals.
• Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans, quarterly updates, and occupancy and sales reports.
• Identify and pursue qualified leads, show apartments, and provide information to prospective residents and families.
• Build relationships with area professionals and maintain contact with prospective residents and referral sources.
• Interview and review records for approval of prospective residents and oversee the acceptance process.
• Supervise or act as move-in coordinator, facilitate the move-in process and write work orders as necessary.
• Monitor and manage the department's budget, preparing monthly financial reports.
• Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, families, referral sources, and coworkers.
• Promote and protect the rights of all residents.
