Job summary

Watercrest Fredericksburg is seeking a Memory Care Resident Caregiver (Part Time) to join the Resident Care team. You will provide day-to-day care in the Memory Care neighborhood, collaborating with dining and community programs to ensure quality of care for residents.

The role requires compassion, effective communication, and the ability to work in varied schedules. Training and on-demand pay options are available as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA/Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide preferred, but not required.
• License/Certificate for Medication Assistance as needed per state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, ADLs, and activity engagement.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks following procedures and standards.
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports, Daily Logs, and verbal shift reports.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled programs and activities.
• Participate in resident programming and respect personal and spiritual needs.
• Maintain infection control practices and report changes to supervisors.
• Ensure rooms are tidy and laundry tasks are completed as assigned.
• Respond to emergency calls and report hazards or incidents promptly.
