Job summary

Watercrest Senior Living in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Memory Care Resident Caregiver to join the Resident Care team. You will ensure day-to-day care for residents in memory care, collaborating with dining and community programs to provide high-quality, sensitive care.

The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and respect for residents, with emphasis on daily routine, activities, and emergency responsiveness in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant/Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide preferred, but not required.
• License / Certificate for Medication Assistance (if applicable) as needed per state regulations.
• CPR certification / First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, activities of daily living, and activity engagement as assigned and as requested by residents.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned using established procedures and standards.
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports, Daily Logs, Shift Cross-over Reports and Verbal Reports as needed.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled programs.
• Participate in resident programming when scheduled or as needed.
• Promote personal choices, independence and spiritual needs.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Assist with cleaning and tidying of resident’s rooms.
• Respond to resident emergency calls.
