Job summary

Watercrest Senior Living in Moseley, VA is seeking a part-time Memory Care Resident Caregiver to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in the Memory Care neighborhood. You will collaborate with dining and activity teams to ensure high-quality daily living support for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, ADLs, program participation, housekeeping, and safety reporting. Strong communication and empathy are essential; CPR/First Aid and a valid CNA/Aide credential

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA/Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide preferred but not required.
• Medication assistance license/certificate as per state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, daily living activities, and activity engagement.
• Perform daily housekeeping per procedures and standards.
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports, Daily Logs, and shift reports.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled programs.
• Participate in resident programming and support independence and spiritual needs.
• Handle laundry tasks and tidy resident rooms.
• Respond to resident emergency calls and report changes promptly.
• Maintain infection control practices and report hazards.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored; report light bulbs and emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights.
