Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation’s Clarkston community seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to oversee daily Memory Care operations and lead innovative, person-centered programming for residents. You will work closely with the Memory Care Director and Health & Wellness teams to promote a caring environment that aligns with Embrace pillars and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• 1–3+ years in Alzheimer’s/Dementia care, senior recreation programming, and management.
• Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• Fluency in English to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents and third parties.
• Proven leadership experience with person-centered programming.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Embrace philosophy for residents, families and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six Embrace pillars.
• Daily oversight of Memory Care operations with the Memory Care Director and Health/Wellness team.
• Lead 5–7 high-quality programs per day and assist in planning and evaluating activities.
• Provide education and hands-on support to community staff with managers.
• Monitor programs to sustain excellence and resident/family/staff satisfaction.
