Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks a Memory Care Coordinator in Clarkston to lead the Embrace pillars and oversee daily Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.

The role requires delivering 5–7 innovative programs daily, guiding staff education, and implementing processes that maintain resident, family, and staff satisfaction while being fiscally responsible.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• 1-3+ years in Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, and Management.
• Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• English language proficiency to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy in all aspects of the role for residents, families and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six pillars of Embrace.
• Daily oversight of Memory Care operations with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead 5–7 high‑quality programs per day; plan, coordinate and evaluate resident activities.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff with managers.
• Monitor programs to sustain excellence in programming and high satisfaction while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
