Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to promote the Embrace philosophy and oversee memory care programming. The role focuses on leading 5-7 daily activities, coordinating with the Memory Care Director, and training staff to ensure high resident and family satisfaction.

Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree preferred in a related field, 1-3+ years of dementia care and senior recreation programming experience, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in a related field.
• Area of Study: Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Years of Experience: 1-3+ years.
• Experience: Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, and Management.
• Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• Language Skills: English fluency.
• Proven Leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with innovative, person-centered programming.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Embrace philosophy in all aspects of role for residents, families, and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six pillars of Embrace.
• Daily oversight of Memory Care operations with Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead 5-7 high-quality programs per day and plan/evaluate resident activities.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff with managers.
• Implement and monitor programs to promote excellence while maintaining satisfaction and fiscal responsibility.
