Job summary

The Sheridan at Eastside, part of Senior Lifestyle Corporation, seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to implement and oversee the Memory Care points of distinction across Embrace pillars, ensuring mission alignment and compliance.

You will lead daily Memory Care operations in collaboration with the Memory Care Director, delivering 5–7 innovative programs per day, and train staff to sustain high-quality resident experiences while remaining fiscally responsible.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• 1–3+ years experience in Alzheimer’s/Dementia care and senior Recreation programming.
• Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• English language fluency to communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote Embrace philosophy for residents, families, staff.
• Implement the six pillars of Embrace.
• Oversee Memory Care operations with director and team.
• Lead 5–7 programs daily; plan and evaluate activities.
• Provide education and hands-on support to staff.
• Monitor programs to maintain high satisfaction and fiscal responsibility.
