Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to champion Embrace Wellness, Enrichment, Creativity, Connection, Challenge, and Teamwork in our communities. You will oversee Memory Care operations daily with the director and wellness team, and personally lead 5–7 innovative programs per day for residents and families.

Education of an Associate’s degree is preferred with 1–3+ years in dementia care or senior recreation programming, along with active certifications.

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Area of Study: Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Years of Experience: 1-3+ years.
• Type of Experience: Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, and Management.
• Special Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English to perform duties and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy in all aspects of the role for residents, families and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six unique pillars of Embrace.
• Daily oversight of Memory Care operations with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead high-quality memory care programs; 5–7 programs daily; assist planning, coordination, and evaluation of activities.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff with community managers.
• Implement and monitor programs to promote excellence in programming and high satisfaction within budget.
