Job summary

The Sheridan at Eastside is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to lead memory care programming and ensure high-quality activities for residents. You will work with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team to implement Embrace pillars across care, enrichment, and engagement.

Responsibilities include delivering 5–7 daily programs, training staff, and maintaining a high level of resident and family satisfaction while upholding company policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Area of Study: Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience.
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, and Management.
• Activity Director Certified or Dementia Practitioner preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Embrace philosophy with residents, families and staff.
• Lead Memory Care programs; minimum of 5–7 programs per day.
• Oversee daily Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff.
• Implement and monitor programs to promote excellence in programming with high resident/family/staff satisfaction.
