Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator (Finance) in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role plans and coordinates person-centered dementia programs across a Brookdale community, engaging residents and families while ensuring BEST standards are followed.

The position may involve supervising program staff, collaborating with leadership, and contributing to program budgeting and events. A valid driver's license and 3-year driving abstract are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and facilitates a calendar of person centered dementia friendly programs.
• Designs a 7 day a week program and develops a monthly calendar with residents' interests.
• Ensures programs meet Brookdale standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and associates about Alzheimer's and dementia care.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistants and participate in hiring and evaluations.
• Oversees social media content alignment with Brookdale's culture and standards.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field

Two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia
