Tender Rose Dementia Care Specialists is hosting a Caregiver Open House for the Memory Care Professional (MCP) role in San Rafael, CA. Meet the team, learn about duties, and interview on-site to explore a rewarding opportunity to support individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

The MCP role emphasizes compassionate, activity-based care, meaningful connections, and excellent client service within a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year Dementia/Alzheimer care experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of CA.

Responsibilities

• The MCP facilitates activities that meet clients’ fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments throughout the day, even as the disease progresses.
• Create activities that engage clients in six key areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual and spiritual.
• Use person-centered, activity-based care to ensure joy, dignity, and meaning in daily life.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to and from outings and appointments.
