Tender Rose is hosting an on-site Memory Care Professional Open House in San Rafael, CA. Interview on-site with our team for a rewarding caregiving role supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

We offer paid training starting at $20.50/hour, a $350 sign-on bonus, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, paid sick leave, and growth opportunities. Bring your resume and join us for interviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience.
• Minimum 1 year dementia/Alzheimer care experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• CA Home Care Aide clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities to meet clients’ fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments.
• Create engaging activities focused on six areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual, spiritual.
• Deliver person-centered, activity-based care with joy, dignity and meaning.
• Must be able to drive to and from outings and appointments.

The Memory Care Professional (MCP) provides non-medical companionship care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Responsibilities

• The MCP facilitates activities that are designed to meet the clients’ fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments throughout the day, even as the disease progresses.
• To provide meaningful, individualized care for clients, the MCP focuses on creating activities that engage their abilities in six key areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual and spiritual.
• Using this approach to person-centered, activity-based care, the MCP can assure almost every day will be a good one because it is filled with joy, dignity and meaning.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to and from outings and appointments.

• Minimum of 1 year Dementia/Alzheimer care experience
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of CA
