Tender Rose hosts a Caregiver Open House for Memory Care Professional (MCP) roles in San Rafael. Meet our team, learn about the role, and interview on-site at the event.

The MCP provides non-medical companionship to individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, focusing on person-centered, activity-based care to improve quality of life for clients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year professional caregiving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dementia/alzheimer's care experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of CA.

Responsibilities

• The MCP facilitates activities designed to meet clients' fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments daily.
• Develop activities engaging six areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual, spiritual.
• Deliver person-centered, activity-based care with joy, dignity, and meaning.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to outings and appointments.

• To provide meaningful, individualized care for clients, the MCP focuses on creating activities that engage their abilities in six key areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual and spiritual.
• Using this approach to person-centered, activity-based care, the MCP can assure almost every day will be a good one because it is filled with joy, dignity and meaning.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to and from outings and appointments.
