Job summary

Tender Rose Dementia Care Specialists is seeking a dedicated Memory Care Professional (Caregiver) to provide non-medical companionship and activity-based care for clients with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. You will deliver person-centered care with a luxury-brand service mindset, supporting clients and families to improve mood and quality of life.

Responsibilities include following individualized care plans, assisting with ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year professional caregiving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year Dementia/Alzheimer care experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of CA.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers follow customized care plans that are designed to meet the clients' fundamental needs, even as the disease progresses.
• Assist clients with ADLs and personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation
• Transportation to and from outings and appointments.
• Document completion of tasks, and promptly communicate changes in client's physical condition, mental capacity, or behavior.
